PRIVACY & DISCLOSURES
A clear starting point.
Who operates this site
AIDataBrokerz is an independent project operated by Josh May. Questions about an inquiry or your information can be sent to hey@jmmay.com.
How these guides are prepared
These guides and tools use AI-assisted research and drafting for this independent project. They organize practical questions for business data owners; they do not claim first-hand brokerage transactions, professional legal review, or a verified buyer network. We link primary sources for named platform facts and label hypothetical examples. A checked date describes the source review, not a guarantee that terms remain current.
Josh May operates this site and the related AIDataBuyer and AIDataLicenser projects. This site focuses on intermediary selection and buyer qualification. Potential referral compensation creates an incentive to facilitate introductions; any proposed arrangement needs separate discussion. Send corrections or source updates to the contact address above.
What we collect
If you submit an inquiry, we store your name, business email, company details, and the dataset description you provide. We also record when you submitted it, your consent, the first page you visited in the current browser session, referring website domain, campaign tags, and the page that led to the assessment.
How we use it
We use these details to review inquiries, contact you, explore potential referrals, and measure which pages bring inquiries. We keep private review notes and may track whether a referral becomes a deal or generates revenue. We will discuss a proposed introduction with you before sharing your inquiry with a potential partner. We do not automatically forward submissions.
Storage and service providers
Owner email alerts may include the contact and dataset-description fields you submit. We use Resend for these owner notifications; inquiries are not automatically sent to brokers or buyers. Inquiry records are stored on our server hosted by Hetzner in the United States. Access to the lead dashboard requires authentication. Hosting and domain service providers process technical information needed to operate the website. No security system is perfect; do not send sensitive records through this form.
Cookies and measurement
We use a first-party session cookie for form security, submission confirmation, and inquiry attribution. The cookie expires when your browser session ends. We count page requests by page and day; these counts may include repeat visits and bots. We do not use advertising pixels or third-party analytics scripts. Temporary, hashed network identifiers help limit abusive submissions and expire within an hour. Hosting infrastructure may also process network addresses and request logs.
Worksheets and calculator
The editable worksheets and fee calculator run in your browser. They do not send your entries to our server or save them in browser storage. Copy anything you want to keep before leaving the page. The inquiry form is separate and sends the details you choose to submit.
Retention and requests
We retain inquiries while this project evaluates and manages potential opportunities. Retention is currently managed manually; there is no automatic deletion schedule. You can ask to access, correct, or delete your inquiry, or stop further contact, by emailing the address above. Include your inquiry reference if you have it. Backup copies may remain until rotated out.
What this service is—and is not
AIDataBrokerz collects exploratory inquiries. It is not an AI lab, a verified marketplace, or a commitment to purchase data. No buyer roster, minimum volume, qualification threshold, pricing, or earnings is guaranteed. Educational examples are not evidence of completed deals.
There is no fee to submit an inquiry. We may earn referral compensation if an introduction leads to a transaction. Any proposed commercial arrangement will require separate terms. Sending this form does not grant a license to your dataset.
Keep the dataset with you
Submit a high-level description only. Do not include raw customer or employee records, personal identifiers, access credentials, confidential samples, or files. Having a copy of a dataset does not by itself establish permission to license it.
